Last fall a coin was minted to commemorate the 40th anniversary (1972-2012) of the founding of the Toronto Helios Society that eventually became Bare Oaks Family Naturist Park. The coin is officially called the Bare Oaks Sestertius.

One side features Bare Oaks’ Nude Family Emblem while the other side displays the International Naturist Federation (INF) logo. The INF, which was founded in 1953, is the umbrella organization bringing together the various national naturist federations throughout the world. It is celebrating its 60th anniversary on the site where it was created – the CHM Montalivet in France.

We will be giving the coin away as gifts, rewards or as prizes in the various competitions that occur throughout the year. The coin is also be available for sale for those who want a souvenir. While the coin does not have an official value, it can be exchanged for various items. (drinks, snacks, ice cream, etc…) The items will vary and the current ‘rate’ of exchange is posted in the store at Bare Oaks.
