Together with the Bare Bistro and the GTA Skinnydippers, Bare Oaks is in the Christmas spirit of giving. You can see the lovely and very tall Christmas tree we have standing in the clubhouse dining room. Please bring an unwrapped gift for a child. We are collecting gifts for children ages infant to late teens. If you would like to make a financial donation, we will put your name on a Christmas decoration and you can hang it on the tree!

You can contact the Bare Oaks office, Liz in the Bare Bistro or Ron at GTA Skinnydippers.

In the famous words of Santa in the poem ‘Twas The Night Before Christmas :

Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!*

Note: the office/store will be closed Christmas Eve (Dec. 24), Christmas Day (Dec. 25), Boxing Day (Dec. 26) and New Year’s Day (Jan. 1) but facilities are always open to members using their key fob.

*The poem is actually called Account of a Visit from St. Nicholas. The end line was originally “Happy Christmas to all, and to all a good night.” but has frequently been presented as “Merry Christmas” in recent popular culture. It was first published anonymously in 1823. For many year, it was attributed to Clement Clarke Moore. But according to the University of Toronto, evidence published in 2000 indicates that the author is most likely Major Henry Livingston, Jr. (1748 – 1828).
